Bruce R. Bunton

Bruce R. Bunton, 52, of Dover died unexpectedly in his home on Wednesday, September 13, 2013.

Bruce was born April 30, 1961 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, the son of Elizabeth Jean Weselek Bunton Walker of Dover and Ronald H. Bunton of Conover, North Carolina.

Bruce enjoyed reading and drawing and was an avid fisherman.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by four children Crystal Bunton of Mineral City, John and Bruce Bunton both of New Philadelphia and Sheldon Bunton of Dover; three grandchildren, Jeremiah and Kyra Bunton and Michael Latimer; five brothers and three sisters; Robert (Karen) Bunton of Strasburg, Philip (Joanna) Bunton of Dover, Lottie Walker of Mineral City, Ron Jr., Donnie, Torrina and Sandy Bunton all of Conover, North Carolina and William Daniel Stauffer; nieces and nephews, Robert Bunton Jr., Christopher Bunton, Melissa Ruegsegger, Joshua Bunton, Samantha Emig, Heather Ferrebee, Philip Bunton Jr., Chasity Bunton, Ronald Bunton, David Marker, Jessica Byler, James Marker and Markes Marker.

Bruce was preceded in death by his stepfather David Lee Walker and a brother, Jesse Bunton.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 23, 2013 beginning at 11am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory at Dover with Andy Schulze officiating. Interment will be in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-5pm.
