Betty L. Tarulli

Betty L. Tarulli, 81, of Dover died Friday, January 30, 2015 at Union Hospital.

Born November 30, 1933 in Molehill, West Virginia she was a daughter of the late Gerald and Virginia Mc Cullough Maple. Betty was also preceded in death by her husband, John F. Tarulli on October 8, 2003.

She retired from Kent State University in New Philadelphia after more than 30 years of service as the manager of the campus book store. Betty was a giving person by nature and would sometimes help students by buying their books for them. She attended St. Joseph Catholic Church and enjoyed going to the Senior Center. She loved playing Bridge, quilting and was an avid reader.

A wonderful and loving mother and grandmother, Betty will be sadly missed by her children, Dan Tarulli, Rick Tarulli and his companion, Kerry Weisbruch all of California, Cindy (Nick) Hutras of Hilliard, Frank Tarulli of Dover; sisters, Bonnie (Don) Warner and Barb Shannon; grandchildren, Jason, Katie, Talia, John and Frank; great grandchildren, Camila, John Luca and Melina.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 7 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Deacon Ron Fondriest officiating. Interment will be at the Dover Burial Park. Following the burial a luncheon will be held in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Friends can call at the funeral home on Friday from 5-7 pm.
