Barbara J. Murphy

Barbara J. Murphy, 73, of Dover passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020 at Union Hospital.

Born on July 14, 1947 in Dover she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mayme Dean Frazee. Barbara was also preceded in death by her step-father, John Herron.

She was employed at the Times-Reporter for over 20 years, and had also worked at the Tuscarawas County Humane Society. Barbara was an artistic person who enjoyed oil painting; she also loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her daughters, Tracy (Doug) Carpenter of Dover, Leslie (Troy) Morris of New Philadelphia; brother, John (Linda) Frazee of Delroy; grandchildren, Emily, Ethan, David, Daelyn, Carleigh; and her beloved dog, Fluffy.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. Private family graveside services will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Tuscarawas County Humane Society or to Community Hospice.
