Barbara A. Karr

Barbara A. Karr, age 77, of Dover, died Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, in Union Hospital, following a long illness.

Born Aug. 8, 1934, in Dover, she was a daughter of the late Francis L. and Erma Hines Davis. Barbara graduated from Dover High School, and was employed by Miller & Miller Accountants, Dover. She played the french horn with the Dominic Greco Concert Band.

Barbara is survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of forty-two years, William J. Karr, on Mar. 21, 1993; a sister, Jean L. Gerst; and a brother, James F. Davis.
