Arthur D. Maus

Arthur D. Maus, 92, of Bolivar, Ohio and formerly of Meredith Place in Uhrichsville died Friday, August 3, 2001 in Union Hospital following a brief illness.

He was a former employee of the Reeves Steel Company in Dover.

Born September 2, 1908 in Chappel, Nebraska, he was the son of the late Curtis and Anna Putt Maus.

He formerly attended the First Baptist Church in New Philadelphia and was an avid sports enthusiast in Cleveland Indians fan.

He is survived by his sister Viola Dummermuth of Dover and numerous nieces and nephews including Dean Dummermuth of Dover and Dorothy Locker of New Philadelphia who assisted him with his daily affairs.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Edward, Francis, Dewey, and Wilbur Maus and two sisters, Edna Price Renner and Florence Maughan.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 6, 2001 at 2 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Tim Hatfield officiating. Interment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Dover. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 1-2 pm.
