Anna K. Mckeever

Anna K. McKeever, 100, of Syracuse, New York and formerly of Dover died Monday, February 6, 2012 in the Rosewood Heights Health Center.

Born October 31, 1911 in Dover she was a daughter of the late Charles and Katherine Ott Springer. Anna was also preceded in death by her first husband, William Mattern in 1962 and her second husband, Herbert McKeever in 1981; daughter, Elizabeth Farrell and two sisters and a brother.

She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Dover where she sang in the choir for 70 years. In her spare time, Anna enjoyed rose gardening.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Johnson of Baldwinsville, New York; sister, Thelma Springer of Dover; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 20, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Rev. Gene Kraus officiating. Interment will be at the Dover Burial Park. Friends can call at the funeral home on Monday from 10-11 am.
