Anna A. Gerber

Anna A. Gerber, 91, of Dover died Sunday, May 9, 2004 at the Hennis Care Centre following an extended illness.

Born December 22, 1912 in Dover she was a daughter of the late Louis and Rosa Spristerbach .

Anna was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, John W. Gerber, who died on August 31, 1992.

Anna will be sadly missed by her daughter and son in law, Rose Ann (Kenneth) Gasser of Dover; two grandchildren, Susan (Terry) Brown of Dover and Ann (Paul) Bambeck of Dover; three great grandchildren, Spencer, John and Jake.

In addition to her parents and husband, Anna was also preceded in death by four sisters, Barbara, Elizabeth, Freda and Marie; one brother, William.

She was a member of St. Paul, Ruslin Hills, United Church of Christ. Anna devoted her life to her family, she loved nature, especially gardening and feeding the birds.

A celebration of Anna�(TM)s life will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Pastor Greg Clay officiating. Interment will be at the Dover Burial Park. Friends can call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
