Andrew J. Sweitzer

Andrew "Andy" John Sweitzer passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at the age of 49. He was born August 28, 1967 in Dover, Ohio and graduated from the 1985 Class at Tuscarawas Central Catholic High School.

Andy grew up happily in Dover and was loved by everyone. He was a loving father, son, brother, relative and friend. He will be remembered as a man who loved his children and family and enjoyed spending time with them. He will live on as an Ohio State University, Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavaliers and Cleveland Tribe fan, cheering and badgering the refs along the way.

Andy was preceded in death by his parents, James William and Sharon (Contini) Sweitzer. He is survived by his children, Tyler and Taylor Sweitzer; siblings R. Joe Yost, Michael J. Sweitzer, Christopher A. Sweitzer and Catherine (Sweitzer) Whetzel as well as nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Catholic graveside service will be held Saturday, September 17, 2016 beginning at 11:00am in the St. Joseph's Calvary Cemetery in Dover with Deacon Ron Fondriest officiating. Immediately following the service, a lunch will be served at the home of Dennis and June Contini.
