funeral
profession for more than ten years and in that time has gained vast
experience in the area of funeral planning in both at-need and pre-need
situations.
In July of 1999, John became recognized nationally as a leader in the
field
of funeral pre-planning by earning the distinction of being named a
Certified Preplanning Consultant (CPC) by the National Funeral Directors
Association and National Funeral Service Foundation. The first such
professional in this part of Ohio, John remains the only licensed
funeral director in Tuscarawas County to have earned this designation.
2002 marked the fourth consecutive year that Delcoma was honored at the
annual meeting for the Monumental Life Company. There are over 600
pre-need counselors across the United States and Canada affiliated with
Monumental. In each of his four years with Monumental, Delcoma has
been sited as a top-ten counselor each year including a number five ranking
the past three years. For the past two years, John has been the highest rated Monumental
pre-planning consultant in Ohio.".
Not only was he cited for his knowledge, integrity and skill, but, as a
''Top Five'' counselor, Delcoma was inducted into the Monumental's
prestigious President's Circle. He was also recognized for his
numerous community information speeches including his unique presentation -
''Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Funeral Pre-Planning But
Were Afraid to Ask''.
