Leslie Ann Anderson Bevan Knotts Kellner, 70, of Dover died Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Aultman Hospital.
Born December 31, 1941 in Sugarcreek she was a daughter of the late Lester and Vesta Hupp Anderson. Leslie was also preceded in death by her husband's Ferrell Knotts and Walter Kellner; brother, Donald Anderson and granddaughter, Anna Johnson.
Leslie, along with her husband Ferrell, owned and operated the Der Candle Maker Shoppe just outside of Dover on Rt. 39. She was also an active member with the Dennison Foursquare Gospel Church and New Life Church of God having been a long time Sunday school teacher and involved with Rejoice and the Secret Sisters women's group.
Leslie is survived by her children, Robin (Mark) Handy of Young Harris, Georgia, Richard (Melissa) Bevan of Strasburg, Dennis (Sherry) Bevan of Strasburg, Jefferson Bevan of New Philadelphia, Karen (Bill) Marsden of Dover, Pamela (Brian) Johnson of Strasburg, Miranda Knotts of New Philadelphia; brother, Keith (Bonnie) Anderson of Sugarcreek; sisters, Ardath Porter of Strasburg and Sandra Swinehart of Dundee; 10 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. A memorial service celebrating Leslie's life will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Dode Overton officiating. Friends can call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 pm to 2:00.
