Lori Ann Krebs

Lori Ann Krebs, age 47, of New Philadelphia, passed away Friday, September 14, 2018, in the Cleveland Clinic from complications of pneumonia.

Born December 30, 1970, she was a daughter of Kathryn Hootman Krebs of New Philadelphia and Victor (Adrie) Krebs of Dover. Lori graduated from Dover High School in 1989. She was a kind and loving soul who gave freely of her time and talents as a caregiver - she was always looking after family, friends, and animals. Lori volunteered at Operation Warm and Cozy in New Philadelphia, and enjoyed the outdoors, particularly camping, hiking and fishing. She liked going to drag races, as well as the excitement, sounds and smells associated with all types of motor racing. Additionally, she loved riding on her father’s Harley-Davidson.

Lori was a firm believer in God and God’s love, and she was truly loved by those she left behind.

In addition to her parents, Kathryn and Victor, and step-mother, Adrie, she will be sadly missed by her companion, Rod Mills of New Philadelphia; her sons, Dylan (Teyah Lieser) Wagner of Dover, and Jordan Drescher of Strasburg; her brother, James “Jimmy” (Jody Decker) Krebs of Panama City Beach, Florida; her last surviving grandparent, Dorothy Halter of Dover; and her dog, Niko.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 29, at 11 a.m., in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover. Burial will be in Evergreen Burial Park, New Philadelphia. Following the committal, there will be a lunch in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center on the Boulevard in Dover, where memories will be shared and Lori’s life celebrated. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Saturday, 10 – 11 a.m.
