John A. Nigro

John A. Nigro, age 45, of Dover, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, October 22, 2017.

Born October 4, 1972, in Dover, he was a son of the late Nick and Delores Harding Nigro. John graduated from Dover High School where he played football, and was formerly employed by The Timken Co. in New Philadelphia. He loved his children dearly as well as his fiancée, Jana Jones. John enjoyed following Dover football and the Cleveland Indians, and playing bocce. He was a regular volunteer at the Greater Dover-New Philadelphia Food Pantry.

In addition to his fiancée, Jana, survivors include his children, Vincent, Kimberly and Anthony Nigro; his sister, Angela Hochstetler; his brother, Nick (Ellen) Nigro II; and his nieces and nephews.

Cremation is in the care of the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Friday, October 27, 2 – 4 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 4.
