| In 1999, Toland-Herzig acquired the former "Friendly's" Restaurant building located in the heart of the Tuscarawas Valley on the Boulevard between Dover and New Philadelphia. A complete renovation of the 2,600 square foot facility has taken place, and in September 2000 we opened our doors to the community.
The Monarch Center has been designed as a multi-functional facility with the flexibility of handling groups ranging from 10-200 people at any given time. The center is completely handicap accessible, and beautifully decorated in a butterfly theme. In addition to being available for families to use for after-funeral meals and gatherings, the center will also be home to Toland-Herzig's bereavement service activities and support groups, and will be an important part of the funeral pre-planning program. The Monarch Center will also be able to serve the meeting needs of businesses and organizations in the Tuscarawas Valley. The center includes both a large and small meeting area equipped with a state-of-the-art audio visual system as well as a full service kitchen for all day conferences, workshops and training sessions. We can arrange for recording and video taping and will make available presentation equipment suited to your meeting needs. Catering can also be arranged with a wide variety of dining options. Limousine service is available from your place of business or the local airport. Every Monarch Center event will be tailored to meet your individual needs and exceed your highest expectations. |
