Karen has been with Toland-Herzig since November 2000. She is a staff associate and a hostess at the Monarch Center.
A schoolteacher for twenty-five years in the Dover school system, Karen earned her bachelors degree from Wittenberg University and later attained her Masters in Education degree from Ashland University.
She and her husband Tom are active members of the First Moravian Church in Dover. Karen has served as past trustee, choir director, Sunday school teacher, assistant coordinator of vacation Bible school, president of the Women's Fellowship, and coordinator for both church transportation and dinners.
Family ties are vitally important to this Toland-Herzig staffer as Karen and her husband enjoy the company of their adult children (Polly and Barry Trotter, Ryan and Edie Armstrong and Jennifer Armstrong). The six grandchildren, Mac, Ellie, Pete, Will, Jake and Hunter keep Karen and Tom pretty busy with their activities.
