John, a Vietnam veteran, worked thirty-one years with the Dover Police Department before retiring. Now John spends time golfing and gardening when not lending a hand at Toland-Herzig.
In addition to working services and greeting visitors at the door, John also enjoys helping with the maintenance and grounds at Toland-Herzig's four facilities, and is "unofficially" in charge of making sure the fleet vehicles stay in tip-top shape.
John has been a long time member of the First United Methodist Church where he is president of the Cross Bearer's Class.
He has been married to the former Cheryl Hoy for thirty-nine years and is now enjoying wonderful times with the grandchildren. The Eichels have two sons and a daughter. |
